Our Studio

Having our studio in the Goldsbrough Mort MC 1 building, situated on the edge of Sydney's CBD offers you a diverse range of locations and background options for modern outdoor portraiture including: corporate looking cityscapes and the natural beauty of the Black Wattle Bay foreshore while our indoor photographic studio is perfectly suited for traditional headshots and portraits using a range of professional backdrop tones and colours with all the comfortness of waiting areas, meeting space and dressing hair & makeup rooms. The building's garden rooftop is also a fantastic place for beautiful textured backgrounds and amber sunsets. 

There are a number of transport and parking options available, in some circumstances we offer a collection service if you are based in the CBD, Pyrmont, North Sydney and surrounds. For this we will need sufficient notice to plan around our schedule.

 

Little bit of History...

M Central, a new inner-city loft-style apartment & office complex, has resurrected a forgotten piece of Sydney history. In 1882 R. Goldsbrough & Co built its first Sydney wool store in Pyrmont to take advantage of Darling Harbour and the rail system.

The site first became a woolstore in 1906 with the construction of the Pitt, Son & Badgery building, which is now known as M Central 1. Goldbrough Mort constructed two additional wool stores (Number 2 & 3 store) on Harris Street in 1925, the building which is now known as M Central 2.

By the 1930’s Pyrmont and Ultimo was New South Wales’ wool store centre. In recognition of the site’s heritage, the M in M Central stands for Merino.
